So on the app, they now offer a variety of podcasts, including a lot of the popular ones. For example, the PMT one is there. I am listening to Crime Junkie rn, as us women do.
I am not sure what the appeal is. They are all free on the podcast app or wherever you download your podcasts today. I guess to get all your streaming in one place? IDK.
I dont think Shapiro is on there, so thats a big whiff.
I guess the "all your streaming in one place" thing would have some appeal if it really was all your streaming, as you said. But if I still need another app to get some podcasts, I'm probably never using the SXM app for any of them.
Not exactly thread-appopriate but it's on the same topic so I'll say it here while I'm at it... Theny, is Rogan now available ONLY on Spotify? I tried to find that Burr ep from my podcast app the other day, and I don't see new eps since the end of November. He may have lost me as a semi-regular listener. I'll still check it out occasionally if it's a guest I really like, but I don't use Spotify for anything else so I'm not in a hurry to put it on my phone for access to one single podcast.

Isn't it a little racist to call it Black Friday? - Joy Behar
My sources tell me that XM got rid of the following shows in order to keep Howard Stern:
- Jason Ellis - we knew this bc he was vocal about it - Jenny McCarthy show on some channel. Weird seeing as Howard pretends to be her friend. - Bonfire. That is wolf-famous.

I haven't listened to Bonfire in a while because it's on at like dinner time, which is kinda retarded, and the app doesn't seem to have full eps available to listen to later, just some "best of" stuff once a week. But anyway, it's way the fuck better than the current version of Howard. I've been following their saga online a bit, as they wait to see where their show was gonna land. It looks like maybe PJ's boy Luis J Gomez is just gonna make it a podcast on his network; at least that was one of the possibilities they were floating. Good show; people will cancel their SXM membership over this IMO.

And isnt Barstool radio on the way out at SXM? That would certainly equal some cancellations of subscriptions. Its a joke.
I renewed my subscription in September because they had a deal, $60/yr. Since COVID hit, I barely drive my car, that's the only place I ever listen to SiriusXM.

you reminded me to go check my account bc I know i have a renewal coming up. They fucked up. Looks like im getting the next 12 months is $28.30.
Last year they charged me $317. I called and cried, so they refunded me the full $317 and then charged me 99$ plus $21 music fee. The rest of that $317 still sits there as a credit LOL.
Maybe I am looking at this wrong, but
Nevermind I checked my CC statement. What a long ass attempt to show that I was right. $28 this year
Looks like these idiots smartened up and are keeping The Bonfire. It comes back Monday on Faction 103, whatever that is. I know you’re all looking forward to it.
Chris is saying that he isnt comfortable using the term "lazy" for minorities. A couple callers called Gary Sanchez lazy and Chris got awk. He said he prefers indifferent to lazy.
This caller just said he's trying to be too woke and coming off more racist LOL.
Im a fucking douche. I thought I was paying nothing for XM, but I believe that may of been last year and not this year. I go to my account and find out ive been paying $28/month
I see all these jackals online saying they cancelled or whined and got a rate of $4 or 5/month.
I called and bent over to this nice sounding presumably filipino girl, and excepted 11.99 a month plus fees, which is now $15/month. I didn't feel like staying on and escalating, honestly.
They just launched a new channel on the streaming devices, not in cars
A new channel synced to the sounds taking off on TikTok
Rising stars. Rediscovered classics. Collaborative crazes. Find it all on TikTok Radio, the new channel where TikTok creators and tastemakers share the app's top trending sounds and the stories behind them. Tune in on channel 4 and the SXM App to catch weekly countdowns, mix shows, and more. Expect to hear songs from music's next generation of rising stars, viral hits, and whatever else the TikTok community is vibing to.
Sounds pretty cool. I presume they will only showcase POCs, isnt TikTok the one where Black folk claim that their dances and songs get stolen, didnt Fallon have to apologize for showcasing something and not giving credit?
