I did think that Kingstown show looked good from the trailer I saw.
I skimmed a few reviews and they seem kind of mixed.
Of course one reviewer said it suffered from blue collar white savior complex. #2021.
I got this stupid service for Yellowstone. The ads are awesome. :whiteflag: Anyway, my BIL told me the mayor show is bomb, so i'm going to give it a try.
I am caught up on Dexter New Blood. 8 episodes in. I think this season will be 10 eps.
I like it. Its the same concept. Its not as good as the better seasons were, but I still like it.
One bothersome thing is Deb. She is his voice of conscience, the way Harry was, and she is CORNY. They force her into scenes to justify employing her. Also, minor squabble is that Deb has a similar look to Dexter's girlfriend on the show, so that gets confusing at times.
1883 is like Oregon Trail the TV show. It's pretty brutal to watch how some of these people went out.
Mayor of Kingstown is good too. They pull a pretty big swerve in the 1st episode. It's kind of on that Yellowstone/SOA vibe (where Sheridan is from) with ridiculous shootouts and body counts.
I watched the first episode of 1883, looks like it’s gonna be a good one.
I saw Ben tweeting about this to...Bridget or Gretchen last week. He was probably being bombastic, but he was saying it is a much better show than Yellowstone.
Whichever one he wasnt tweeting to was getting pissed that they were doing spoilers on one of the shows.
1883 doesn't really have anything to do with Yellowstone other than the little boy is Costner's grandfather. You don't have to have seen one to watch the other.
Yellowstone kind of jumped the shark this past season. I like all of Taylor Sheridans stuff, but how many scenes did he need to shoehorn in of him doing his fancy horse riding yee haw skills that had nothing to do with the plot. The next spin off is about that ranch in Texas that he just happens to own. Get over yourself dude.
