I did a free week of Fubo this week. So far it's very similar to YTTV, though it feels slightly less responsive when you click a button which is kind of annoying. I'm looking forward to actually getting to watch a Cubs game at some point though.

are the cubs just a shit organization
I mean, yes, but that's not necessarily anything to do with why I can't watch them. I'm in a MLB black out zone for 6 different teams so I can't just get MLB.TV, and Marquee is only available on Fubo on the major streamers.

I thought Manfred said he was going to fix the black out situation. Idiot.

It's the dumbest thing in sports. Can you guys even watch the Field of Dreams games?
There is such a stigma about queerness that there is no way that an entire tv show could be centered around it on a streaming service owned by a multi-billion dollar corporation

Agreed. It’s the most stigmatized thing I’ve ever seen.
Also, that line “only humans have a stigma against it” or whatever is just so dumb. Only humans have brains advanced enough to have the concept of a stigma, assholeface. If giraffes could think, they’d make fun of the gay ones.

no days off for the gay agenda, even when they go to the zoo
I'm assuming this comes to Peacock but it's crazy that this is the holdup for streaming:
It's official.
I never watched the show, what's up with the dork with the hat?
David Simon took a year off from the Baltimore Sun to embed with the BPD Homicide Unit to write the book the show is based off of.
The guy in the hat is a TV cameraman who embeds with the Homicide unit for a couple of the middle seasons. He is a dork and pretty much a useless minor character.

Yeah, I read the book #dork
TY for the information re the dude in the hat. That's a useless hat so it makes sense.

This thread reminds me I need to get back to my rewatch. I stopped at the end of S4. So, three more seasons left, the three where the quality starts dipping.
S1 and S2 are amazing. But after that, NBC started meddling. S3 and S4 are still really good. I think S5 was good too. But S6 and S7 are kind of average. NBC wanted them to sex the show up, add car chases, and all that other nonsense to try and draw ratings.
