since we are all bill simmons disciples i thought this would be a good thread. they have a new podcast "60 songs that explain 90's". each song gets an ep, i just listened to november rain. i find "serious discussions" about music pretentious usually but i'll probably listen for the songs i like. one of the songs that explains the 90s: all i want for christmas is you by mariah carey. agreed, it defined a generation.
