I saw that one going around. I don’t think they needed to apologize, but I get why people didn’t like it.
which is why? The emoji eyes exploding?
or are the 79s upset at the destruction of property (even though it’s “just stuff”) that could of been donated to the family of Breonna Taylor or somethin
I thought it was a decent ad. It does sort of tie in with something I wonder sometimes when watching a movie--just how much stuff gets destroyed by Hollywood in the making of movies (cars, property, children's innocence) that could be used for other things.

LOL, yes I think it's the Breonna Taylor thing. I took it to be not the literal destruction of stuff, but the continued push of big tech to take everything out of the real world. Many are specifially mad about AI "destroying the arts" by replacing real creativity and whatnot. I don't really care about that stuff and I get that Apple was probably going for a "look how much shit you can do with this little thing" angle, but the flip side of that IMO is that it's a pretty good image of just how much technology has taken us out of real life and continues to cram more and more of our existence into online bulshit.

LOL at children's innocence. Maybe none of that stuff was even destroyed and it was all CGI.
