What did you get for Christmas

I was planning to get my mom this fancy snow globe they had at the hospital gift shop. But then on Monday, all the holiday stuff went half off, and by the time I got to work on Wednesday, everything was pretty much gone. Now I have 2 days to find something else for my mom, but unfortunately, this is my workweek, so I've only got a couple of hours in the morning to shop. Should have bought it one of the days I worked last week.

I meant to post this earlier in the week.

I gave each of my kids a $250 gift card for Capital Grille to take their woman out to a nice steak dinner on me. I thought it was a pretty nice gift that didn't require me to leave my house that they would each en joy. Both were very thankful and appreciative.
For the first time I can remember, they both got me a complete dud/miss for a gift.
Son #1 got me a Hot Sauce Making Kit - Not a terrible idea in theory... I like hot sauces and I like variety, but the thought of making the sauces myself doesn't thill me and the only requirement is a blender, which I don't own. Awesome
Son #2 got me a picture frame with a pic from his proposal/engagement day. It was a very nice day at a winery and I'm very happy for him and his soon to be wife. Unfortunately the pic they gave me is one of our whole family with me standing next to my ex and trying not to look like I hate her. I texted him today asking if he has any other pics with just him and his fiancé... or maybe a pic of his dog.

I also do not own a blender.

I have not had a reason to buy one in the 4 years since I moved out of my house. I know we had one, but it must've gone to MEW.
