I just binge watched the first season of Succession and en joyed. Will continue.
Good chat.
Had a few slow days at work so was able to finish the Succession binge. Season 3 was really fuckin good. I've heard season 4 was the final season, I have high hopes for them to stick the landing. I'm a little bummed that I have to wait a week between episodes now.
haven't watched this past week's episode (#4) but damn was not expecting that in ep #3

Yeah that was...interesting. I am caught up on the latest ep. HMU when you wanna discuss.
Well, the crime meeting is S4E2 of Barry was about as funny as anything I've seen on tv in quite a while
Agreed. That was tremendous. Hank might have the highest shooting percentage of all time for a comedic character. I laugh at almost everything he says.
I do have one nit to pick aobut the criminal justice procedural aspect of the new season. This isn't really a spoiler, but just in case dong (who is probably best equipped to answer my question) hasn't watched yet I'll hide it I guess.
{Spoiler} I find it strange that he's in full-on pound you in the ass prison while awaiting trial. I suppose that might happen when someone doesn't get bail, because you're probably not just keeping murderers in some local lockup for months, but it certainly seemed to happen very quickly. I was particularly annoyed by the scene where the cops are doing the "earlier today we arrested this guy" press conference, and the prison guards are watching it on TV while Barry's getting put in a cell behind them. This probably shouldn't annoy me on a show that's not exactly supposed to be hyper-realistic, but it did.

He would generally be in jail unless LA does something different. I should probably watch the episode to see but did they call it a prison, or just looked like one? I know the detention facilities in bigger cities are worse than most prisons.
Just as an example though, our jail here has 3 floors--4th floor is for serious felonies (murder, robbery, etc) plus Federal inmates; 3rd is a little overflow from 4th but mostly women, inmates with medical needs, or sex offenders, and 2nd is everyone else.

TY that makes some sense. I did consider that an LA hail might look kinda like a prison. IIRC they did t actually use the word “prison” but Barry made a couple collect calls and the operator said “state penitentiary.”

For someone who's going in as famous as Barry, I think there's at least an argument that a city/county would put them in a prison as opposed to a jail because it's easier to secure them.
Didn't I see from the commercials that Fuches is in there with him? Can't remember if he had been convicted/sentenced or not
