Unlike in football, I don’t think it’s impossible for it a college basketball team to win a game against an NBA team. They'd absolutely be giant underdogs, but I could see a fluky win happening for a team that’s loaded with guys who will be in the NBA next year. But there’s no way Greeny actually believes his own take.
You’d need a college team with 8+ lottery picks playing against the worst NBA team.
this is interesting the 12-60 pistons are the worst team in the nba.

i would guess that once the college team went to their bench they would be in trouble.

Oh I absolutely think it’s still a crazy long shot and the depth would kill them. But I don’t think it’s entirely impossible for the best college team to catch lightning in a bottle against the worst NBA team. As opposed to football where I don’t think the NFL team would even need to play its starters and they’d win by a million points.

Alledgedly the college all-stars beat the Dream Team in Olympic prep so there is something to winning a game or two. Making the postseason, ehhhhhhh not so much

With Cowherd, I'm not sure who his target market would even be.
In the early days of Cowherd's ESPN radio show, he talked more college football than every other national radio show combined probably. I always appreciated that. The more famous he got the more awful he became.

yeah, i enjoyed listening to him close to 20 years ago when he knew CFB, but he did the Skip/Stephen A/Mike&Tony BS of hot taeks and condescension combined with blinding ignorance on most topics and a refusal to actually learn about 95% of the sports/athletes they're talking about. It's almost like ESPN et al should have stuck to the Baseball Tonight/NFL Live/etc. formats where hosts/experts who knew the sport/coaches/players spoke on that subject and that alone. Now, fuck it, buncha star fuckers who just want to rip on 90% of the stuff going on.
