LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. (WPEC) — A mother and son are facing charges of making a living by running a brothel out of a Florida home.
According to the arrest affidavit, "johns" would knock on the door and be let in. Then, they'd pay $50 and be handed a card.
They'd pick the female commercial sex worker they wanted, go into a room, hand over the card, engage in sexual acts, and leave. The encounters had a 15-minute limit.
The task force found a 25-year-old woman who told them Barillas said she had to work three days a week, and she'd get paid $25 per customer. She told detectives she averaged 8-10 customers each day, and was paid by Barillas based on the number of used condoms at the end of her shift.
