Not entirely relevant but I very much doubt Disney fired her for the context. They asked her to stop posting so much political content and she didn't. Sometimes you gotta know whether you're Colin kaepernick or lebron james, ya know? Can't get another lebron, but there's plenty of Colins out there that won't act like a clown.

Bad example IMHO.
Besides the snl guy I can't think of many people who were explicitly canceled from their jobs on any side. Howeva, I do think there are plenty of examples of middling actors of all types who no longer get jobs because they're loudmouths. Debra messing and Alyssa milano presumably want more acting jobs right? I think these big entertainment companies just want their talent to 'shut up and play.' Honestly I don't think this is even a big stretch

In May 2017, Griffin was dropped by Squatty Potty as a spokesperson. CNN fired her from its New Year's Eve broadcast with Anderson Cooper. Cooper said, "For the record, I am appalled by the photo shoot Kathy Griffin took part in. It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate." All of Griffin's remaining scheduled tour dates were canceled by their venues
