We are trying to entice mr. mags to join. 

I saw someone compare the show to the old Incredible Hulk show, where it was "Hulk wanders into town, something happens, he leaves at the end of the episode" which is pretty apt. I suspect they don't want to move to fast/don't know exactly how they're going to play the Baby Yoda storyline out.

Ep 1 was better than this week's, but both still really enjoyable. Glad to see Baby Yoda engaging in some light genocide.

so that's how yodas stay young so long and live so long, they eat everyone else's babies, stem cells ftw!

Raylan playing a guy named The Marshal was perfect, fuck the Mandalorian, stick with Justified in Spaaaaaace!

anyway, yep, definite step back in ep 2 but overall still better than any of the prequel/sequel trilogies or stand alone films (low bar)

Were those Snokes in the tanks inside the base? Looked like it.

Man, these nerds are really freaking out over this Thrawn dude. Whoever that is.

Also, do ANY of these fucking Jedis ever say “Yes, I can train this one.”? Haha nice.

It was the best episode of the season to me.

Thrawn is basically the only guy I'm familiar with out of the extended universe.  The books featuring him that have come out in the past few years have been really good.  He's a very different character than most in Star Wars, kind of an evil Spock.  Could be a really cool addition to the show, could just be a set up for a spin-off.
