I dont see how he gets convicted of it. The story states they left the beach to continue a confrontation on the street. Seems fair and square based on these minor details IMO.
Absolutely beautiful form by the farm tan bro here.
Great initial push to get separation - some real power in that jab. Immediately resets, stays balanced and keeps his center of gravity low while keeping his arms up. Squares up his hips and keeps them open to his opponent as well, great step into the punch and then the follow through - a thing of beauty.
Black dude on the other hand you can tell he gets too close - opens up his chest to his opponent while his arms are back and useless to his defense. Terrible center of gravity, you can tell he's putting his weight forward so he's already off balance - then gets shoved into next year. Recovers but makes the same mistakes. His opponent basically gives a tell that he's hunting for a right handed punch - something that's pretty safe to assume since majority of people are right handed. He doesn't attempt to block it at all, he's just hoping that his terrible form will be overcome by him possibly landing a punch first. He doesn't step into it and doesn't have the follow through so he immediately gets stunned and falls because of his poor balance.

he’s a white guy who punched a black. He will get convicted.

AND Fugly JENNINGS IS FUGLY!!!!! Awful White Female Liberal: Eat a dick kite
Iowa announced they were naming their field after Duke Slater, and people flipped the fuck out because they are idiots and don't realize there's a difference between naming a field which has never been named after anyone before and renaming the stadium.
Also, while I would never support renaming Kinnick, there are worse things in the world than having someone like Duke Slater as a backup plan. Dude had a pretty incredible life.

I find the whole naming a field inside of a differently-named stadium thing strange. I don't know if I'm in the minority on that one. Also, Duke Slater.

It's pretty dumb and mostly meaningless, but it's a nice honor for a guy who has been dead for 50 some years. I'm sure he appreciated it.
ETA: As you may recall, AC Slater really wanted to wrestle at Iowa according to SBTB canon, so we can always claim him as the namesake I suppose.
