I didn't have anywhere else to put this but it's a random story and just had another talk with the guy, so I'll put this here:
We have a U.S. Marshal over at the Federal Courthouse here that's a very nice guy, usually will shoot the shit with you, etc. Well, randomly twice within a few month span, I happened to run into him at one of the local movie theaters. Both times, he was there with his wife and was seeing the same movie as I was--the first was right around Halloween when my wife and I went and saw The Exorcist, and then a few months later when I took my two oldest to see Five Nights at Freddy's. Apparently, this guy is a HUGE horror movie nut and now because of running into me, thinks I am too. So literally every single conversation I have with him now is about what horror movies I've seen/am going to go see. I'm tempted to start looking up horror movie plots on Wikipedia when I go over to that courthouse so I'll have something to chat with him about.
Long Dick's 3rd Rock comment in the Rewatchables thread reminded me of something I thought of while watching the new Beverly Hills Cop movie. Joseph Gordon-Levitt has put together a pretty solid movie career since being in 3rd Rock: 10 Things I Hate About You, 500 Days of Summer, Inception, Looper, The Dark Knight Rises, Snowden.
