So my daughter gets EXTREMELY emotional during movies. She was sobbing during Homeward Bound because she was worried the pets weren't going to make it. We have known this for awhile.
On Saturday, with my oldest on a camping trip, the younger 2 decided to watch a movie. Knowing the above about my daughter, my wife suggests they watch....
Inside Out.
I didn't say anything because by that point I just wanted them to pick something.
But man, like continuous sobbing after the Bing Bong scene until like 20 minutes after the movie was over.

I haven't seen that movie, but IIRC the entire premise is about expressing emotions, right? Seems like a solid choice.

Yes, there's probably a decent lesson there for her but it's also pretty universally acknowledged as one of the saddest kids movies ever.
I saw one of those click bait articles, probably in a FB ad or something, for "Top 8 Disturbing Scenes from Non-Horror Movies". The image on the link was a guy wrapped in like a clear cocoon. I immediately recognized the picture and went digging for it, it's from this movie:
I absolutely remember seeing this movie a million times when I was younger and I haven't given it a single thought since like 1995. Now I kind of want to see it again.

Streaming on MAX
Makes sense, it was an afternoon staple on HBO back in the day.
