I heard a new one today, from an outside consultant (OBVIOUSLY): "We're not going to boil the ocean"
eta - and apparently this phrase is only new to me because google says people have been asking to retire that phrase for years
I have never heard that used.
yeah, I googled it and see the same article as SY.
Everyone in business has heard the warning: “don’t boil the ocean.”
sure. now at least I'll know what it means if someone ever says it, TY. I'm hoping to say "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink" sometime in my life but there's never the right moment.

I perused that same article. I think WolfCo boiled the ocean away and found an elephant underneath, as they now encourage us to break projects into manageable chunks of work by "not trying to eat the elephant in one bite". It's equally stupid.
I was on a call yesterday, and Pup 1 was playing with Keva blocks (if you're unfamiliar, they're just wooden planks that look kinda like Jenga pieces; you build stuff out of them) right outside my office. After the call I opened the door and he goes, "I heard you say 2 words a lot, so I made them." He had spelled out 2 common WolfCo acronyms out of blocks on the floor.

Cool story, sco.
Sounds like a good kid, don't let someone move his cheese.
Isn't it a little racist to call it Black Friday? - Joy Behar
Dick’s stock falls 23% on missed earnings, cite retail theft as main culprit. Even the Dick’s here in my town is constantly targeted by thieves from Broward county, so I’m not surprised. At this point it seems pointless for some of these brick and mortar retail places to even exist anymore.
