“That was the best showcase bid in the history of the show… in my opinion.” I don’t know if it was or wasn’t, but I do know it’s not a matter of opinion. Either someone has gotten it exactly right before or they haven’t. Bob would’ve known that.

Someone did get it exactly right, but there was an autistic superfan in the audience who memorized all the prices (no lie) and shouted the bid to the guy. That's why Drew said "No help from the audience". There was a documentary about the Perfect Bid, and Drew was in it.

General consensus is that the new, Seacrest-hosted Wheel of Fortune is pretty faggy. I caught a bit of it tonight, and while I don't care about the set changes all that much, I agree that they are choosing a more, shall we say, exuberant class of contestants.
Also one puzzle was the title of a current movie that my parents or other viewers of that age wouldn't have a hope of knowing. I barely knew it myself. They're hoping to shift to a more Gen Z audience, but I'm not sure it works that way. Gen Z isn't tuning in after the 6 o'clock news. Hell, Gen Z isn't watching the 6 o'clock news.

Gen Z barely even knows TV exists. They watch TikTok and YouTube.
