i don't recall when exactly the show clicked for me (i had never read the books or played the game when i watched), but i had the same issue for a few episodes and then got really into it. Yenefer definitely had a She's All That quality. Let's get you out of those overalls and take off the glasses...voila!

Episode 3 was WAY better than the first 2, so I think I'll likely have enough momentum to finish it.

She did look really good at times in Peaky Blinders. Especially when her character was first introduced.

Speaking of PB, I watched Enola Holmes over the weekend (feminist Holmes ladies in the late 19th century yay!), and Moseley, the British fascist Tommy Shelby tries to assisnate played Sherlock’s brother. Very weird.

I’ve been considering a rewatch. I started Better Call Saul so I’ll probably plow through that first, but I definitely need to rewatch before the next season. I don’t even remember most of those things you just said, but I know I want to watch more.
