Is anyone surprised that I have an awesome old-school stereo and 300+ albums? #mawg
I meant to comment on this post earlier. That set up looks cool. What is the most recent album you listened to start to finish?
I listen to albums, CDs, radio (terrestrial and S/XM), but mostly Spotify. The black box in the pic between the receiver and turntable is a blutoof adapter. I also have a high end tape deck but threw out my tapes years ago.
The last album I listened to start to finish was Steely Dan - Can't Buy a Thrill.

The only 8 track I ever had was already installed in the first car I ever bought (1974 Chevy Caprice Classic). I don't think I ever had any 8 tracks, I might have I borrowed a few from my older sister.
My grandparents had a shelf in their basement full of 8 tracks and albums. I never saw anyone listen to any of them. Cool story.
My first stereo system had an 8 track player. For a birthday/Christmas one year I asked for a device that converted the 8-track player to a cassette player. Cooler story.
