They're still doing college basketball this season? I think this is the first time I can remember where I have lost interest as quickly as I have this season. Most of the blue bloods aren't any good and COVID has basically ruined any sort of rhythm the season would otherwise generate. And I have no clue who any of the good players are other than Garza at Iowa.
Add to that the uncertainty with how the tournament will be staged (how many teams will be included, conference tourneys, etc) and I just don't care about college basketball.
I am the opposite. I think Ohio State being decent has elevated my interest. The Big 10 is really entertaining with Illinois, Michigan, Iowa and Ohio State all very good.
Of course Michigan has paused all athletic activities including its basketball team because the track team had an outbreak.
Funny how that works. NC State becoming a dumpster fire hasn't helped. At least our woman's team is really good (although I'm sure they'll lose to Louisville tonight as a middle finger to my comment about how good they are).
Yeah, I knew the B1G was good this year. But it looks like outside of a COVID issue it'll be Gonzaga and Baylor in the championship game. Meh.
Not exactly an inspired effort by Baylor last night against a truly bad Iowa State team. Gotta win your clunkers, I suppose, but that is not a good sign to just barely scrape by against that team.

Weren't they coming back from a long Covid layoff? I think even Scott Drew himself said their first practice back on Sunday was awful.
It'll be a huge surprise if it's not Gonzaga/Baylor in the championship game with Gonzaga winning it all. Just seems like a pretty lame season overall.

Michigan is really good. I would not count them out.
