Among protocol changes now agreed upon: NBA players can no longer interact with non-team guests at road hotels, sources tell ESPN. Players were allowed to have guests in rooms, but that is no longer the case.

Serious Road Beef implications.
I was legit surprised they were allowed to have guests like that in the first place. I was thinking their protocols would preclude them from such activity. Sounds like the NBA just said fuck it after the bubble and went back to how things were done pre-COVID.

Sweet league you have there, Wolf.
TY. I've worked really hard to build a product that is fun, entertaining, and safe for everyone involved.

I was going to post about this before but I think I forgot. How can the western conference be better than the eastern conference 30 years in a row? I don’t know if that’s actually true but seems like it

Not sure how you quantify that, but regardless....the exodus of nba stars to the west has killed their ratings imo.
i remember even when Jordan was playing the west was always better
eta: old link, I was looking at this:
Western Conference playoff teams have had more regular season wins for 22 seasons in a row!! In fact, the West finishes ahead of the East for 27 of the last 30 seasons!!

So in that story the East has won 23 titles to the west’s 26. The west is obviously deeper over these years. Like I said it’s a problem. Especially once Lebron went out west.
It's just weird that it swapped so dramatically. You look at the 1980s and with the exception of two Houston runs, the Lakers rarely had resistance to the Finals. Then by 1990, Portland, Phoenix, Houston, Utah, and San Antonio were perennial contenders.

Despite all that...
WEST during the 80's were represented by two teams in the finals - Lakers and Rockets
The full of competition EAST sent three teams to the finals -- Sixers, Celtics, and Pistons
Easier road maybe, but same basic results
In the 90's
WEST - Seven teams.....Portland, LA, Phoenix, Houston, Seattle, Utah, San Antonio EAST - Four...Detroit, Chicago, New York, Orlando
