that one is a dump but it’s Newark.
the one that I figured would be sick that is disgusting is LAX. I couldn’t believe how big a dump that was.
Newark seems to be the most common answer, I’ve never been in that airport.
I've been there, but not recently. I don't remember the airport itself being particularly bad, but I had to drive to it once and my god, what a shithole that area is.

Denver is a good connecting airport, lots of food and drink options, comfortable etc.
As an arrival/departure airport it has its issues. It is in the middle of nowhere, it has the longest security lines of any airport I have experienced even with pre-check/clear, its baggage system often performs poorly, and it deals with weather/winds all the time. Just this summer flights were diverted to SLC twice from Denver because of high winds.
It is a little better with the train from the airport to downtown. That works really well.
Worst airport of a major city in the U.S. I have been in was Kansas City. It was a dump, had a weird system where if you went to your gate you couldn't leave the area and no food options. I think they have upgraded it recently so maybe it improved.
Cleveland is not great, but it does have a Great Lakes bar and ability to buy beer past security to take home.

I was in the Newark airport once, connecting from Hartford to Honolulu. It did seem kinda dumpy but I was on my way to Hawaii and didn't care. I also have a fairly vivid memory of using my time in that airport to "run the board" on sotsg.
