There are worse options. Unless Jimmy G or an actual werewolf comes free, what's the harm? We're not winning the AFC for the next 10-12 raw years. I have no interest in another veteran star QB on the way down. Bring in Taylor and basically continue what you're doing now, run based offense and tough defense. Then it's up to GM Belichick to pick the next guy, again.
You have no idea how painful it is to watch Tyrod Taylor play QB for your team. You do not want. 31 knows what I mean.

How many Pats games have you watched this year? Cam looks like he's throwing a paint can.

If LDOT ever sees this, you got yourself a de-kudo coming

I’ll agree that a veteran backup is a better option that a former star who will have higher expectations and the same results. I’m just not that interested in bringing in a guy that definitely sucks; I’d rather take a shot on an unknown who might be good.

Quick piece of advice: Don't think that you can go back to that Michigan well for a QB. They will be available in the sixth round, doe

I still believe the Patriots have the ability to bring in cast offs and misfits and make them better than they are, so there's a tiny chance Taylor could be a serviceable QB here.
I'd really like to know what Stidham did to get buried like this. Seems Butler-esque.

They definitely have a track record of doing that with unknown LBs and D-linemen, undersized white WRs, etc. I'm not convinced they can do it with a shitty QB, but I see your point.

Yeah, it's easier to do that with guys who aren't handling the ball on every play. But you definitely want the right guy at QB in today's NFL and not someone you have to coach up to cover other deficiencies on your roster.

how many round 4-7 picks does bill have socked away right now? maybe could trade up some to get Lance or Trask. I really like Trask even though the draftniks think he's not a pro QB. Accurate, quick decision maker, mediocre arm strength...reminds me of a guy. shit maybe you can get him in the 7th round too

Blowouts aren't typically that fun to watch, and lord knows we've seen a few of these kinds of games over the last twenty years and became desensitized, but I had a blast watching that one. Cam threw for......how many yards? And they still beat the shit out of LA. Twas the Belichick wet dream, ground and pound offense, defense and special teams domination.
I was under the impression the Chargers offense was pretty good, so either they're painfully overrated or our defense is starting to figure it out.
Who knows what this team is. Alls I know is they are still firmly "in the hunt", which is all you can ask for in the new AFC East Overlord Era.

69 yards. Cam threw for 69 yards and somehow you won 45-0.
Your punt returner had 3 returns for almost 150 yards.
