Another positive test has the Browns facility shut down today.
For this week's game, if it occurs, I will not have Myles Garret and Denzel Ward available. Denzel Ward could miss a handful of games. That is less than ideal.
On the bright side, Mike Glennon is starting for the Jags. He stinks. Flush knows what I mean.
Kind of an ugly win yesterday. Baker's final numbers were good, but he makes some throws so bad that Josh Allen cringes:
He is only effective if he rolls out and there is one or two receivers he can throw to. I fear a good defensive coordinator will take that away. UEM, thoughts?
Lots of defensive starters out yesterday, so a win on the road was great.

8-3.
I suspect that the book on the Browns for the postseason will be to make them throw.
Isn't it a little racist to call it Black Friday? - Joy Behar
The Browns are 9-3 for the first time since 1994. If they win 10 games, it will be the first time they had 10 wins in a season since 2007.
What is the biggest change this year? Coaching. It is amazing how much better a team performs when they don't commit stupid pre-snap penalties, aren't rushing on personnel groups at the last second, don't waste timeouts, and manage the clock appropriately.
Yesterday apparently Stefanski went into the game knowing they would have to throw to beat the Titans so designed a game plan around Baker, and somehow it worked. I didn't notice this myself, but apparently the Browns almost always run out of the 3 tight ends package, so they called a play out of that set with a play action pass, and all the defenders bit hard on the fake, and Baker completed an easy 75 TD pass to Peoples-Jones on a double move.

They have at least a puncher's chance against anyone this year. Late in the second quarter I was reaching the conclusion that Baker will never be the guy. After the game I think you have to give him the 5th year extension and ride with him.
The defense is bad. They had Denzel Ward and a starting safety out. Those guys would have helped a lot.
Little concerned about our defensive game plan. They apparently had no idea about how to keep Lamar from running.
