Looks like the potential for some really good action movies coming out soon:
I went to high school with a kid we called Monkey Man. He died in a skiing accident his senior year. Pretty sad, IMJO. Nice to see him being honored with a film, though. Incidentally, his dad was the judge who sentenced me for my felony.

LOL he was a white. Possibly some sort of Latino based on his last name now that I think about it, but certainly white-passing. He was called Monkey Man because he had a lot of body hair IIRC. Also I wouldn't say that we were friends. He was a year behind me and we had some friends in common and hung out a time or two (including skiing on the very mountain where he later perished), but I really didn't know him well.

There was a guy in law school we called "Goony Monkey". He was white, but that described the way he played pickup basketball. He would slap the court like Duke guards to inspire a defensive stop. Strange dude. He was also hairy.
