I threw together a cash game lineup like an hour before kickoff. Took a few tips from paje, but decided to save money with Baker at QB. I messed the pay line by 0.82 points. Brutal.

paje (or anyone): Have you tried those Flash Draft things they do for live in-game action? My BIL told me about it last night, so I threw a couple bucks on the 3rd quarter of the Rams-Bears game.
The concept is that you pick a single NFL game and build a 5-person lineup for the upcoming quarter. Each pick is a 15-second live "draft" where they give you 3 guys to choose from, and you don't know who the options will be in the next round. They throw in some stuff like 2-player combos somtimes (for example, one of the choices last night was combined points for Graham/Mooney), and also put multipliers on some players. You can also pick the same player multiple times. I had a near-winning lineup with Stafford/Goff/Woods/D. Williams/D. Williams x2. The triple points on Williams were huge when Montgomery went down, until that Fields TD vaulted a bunch of people ahead of me.
It's a fun way to give yourself some random rooting interest during the game you're watching, and I can see getting hooked on it becuase it's just dumb mindless action, 31 knows what I mean. Maybe it's different at higher price points, but in the $1 games I was playing there are like 1000 entries. And if my math is right, 5 rounds of picking among 3 players means there are only 243 possible lineups to be built. So it's basically impossible that there will ever be a single winner. I ended up winning $2.67 on my $1 buy-in, lol. There were 13 folks tied for first thanks to the Fields TD, and they won $31 each.
Wolf - I have never heard of this. I may look into this for Week 2 though.
LDOT - I've never done celebratory cheeks. Cheeks are usually for Fridays only. I may look into this for Week 2 though.

The Flash Drafts seem like kind of a crap shoot. There's certainly a little bit of strategery involved, but I suspect since it's such a short game it typically comes down to one big play and whether or not you picked that guy. Probably a fun way to blow some money though.
