That was the cold open. The sketch was decent imo.
Haha you're right, that was the same sketch. Her Britney impression sucked IIRC; the sketch might have been OK. I think I drank too much Saturday night.
Disagree, her impression was really good IMHO. I think Melissa Villasenor has gotta be miffed, as impressions are her thing, and the only way they let her on the show.

A fucking 8 minute sketch to start the show? I wonder why people don't like this show anymore.
“Saturday Night Live” and star Michael Che are under fire from critics for a joke they claim was anti-Semitic.
“Israel is reporting that they’ve vaccinated half of their population. I’m going to guess it’s the Jewish half,” the Weekend Update correspondent cracked Sunday morning.
The vast majority of Israel’s population — 74 percent — is Jewish, according to the Jewish Virtual Library.
Vaccination rates of Israeli Arabs are much lower than Jews in the country, partially due to distrust of the government in the Arab community, according to a January article in The Christian Science Monitor.
Its a...joke? On a comedy show?
Grow up.
“Leave Michael Che alone. Israel is not vaccinating the millions of Palestinians in the West Bank, East Jerusalem & Gaza–all of which is ultimately under Israeli control. As a Jewish woman of conscience, I find this medical apartheid appalling,” one woman tweeted.
Meanwhile, a week after “SNL” ignored Gov. Cuomo’s COVID-19 nursing home death scandal, the variety show took the gloves off, casting Pete Davidson as the scandal embroiled Democrat to kick off Saturday night’s episode
I like that tweet, like Che knows any of that
Ben Shapiro said the joke was really offensive and incorrect factually. He said he doesnt know if the guy that said the joke is anti-semitic, but Ben said it was really offensive LOL. "Arabs are being vaccinated at the same rates as the jews in Israel." OK dude, who cares. No one even knows anything about Israel.
Who the fuck would sit there for this, what is this?
I can't even imagine the kind of person you'd have to be to voluntarily sit through this shit. I have no idea what it is, either. Is it a workplace thing? Just some random seminar by a bitch who rented out a Holiday Inn conference room or something? Or is it actually a joke? I can't even tell the difference between reality and parody anymore. Her sign really captures the essence of the whole movement though. "All white people are racist. Give me money."

I agree with the next post in the thread "Honestly I have less respect for those in the crowd than the “all white people are demons” PayPal gal."

The sad part is you don’t know if that’s a fake viral skit or a major corporation training. Thanks 79

Exactly. I can't tell the difference between jokes and reality half the time now. I would like to think that if it's actually a major corporation, they don't allow the trainers to wear full body spandex. But you're not allowed to tell a fat black woman not to wear spandex, so you never know.

You're welcome!
It's certainly not a skit. I can't really make out what the banner says to her left as the camera scrolls, but I'm guessing that's the name of a conference. I don't think it's a training.
