I listened to Bill Maher on Megyn from the other day. Magnums neighbor in the cul de sac texted me about it. Maher comes off like such a weenie. God he’s so gay about Trump and democracy. Megyn owned him several times. It was embarrassing for him imo.
And Megyn brought receipts for her Hillary claims to her show the next day. Maher is a liar or a moron about the Hillary denial shit.

As I discussed with PJ’s hair dye friend from Delco over text, I’m glad they were able to talk civilly on other topics and still mostly be adults despite not seeing remotely eye to eye on the Trump stuff. I agree she had receipts on Hillary and came off better in that discussion (it’s possible I’m biased there because I already was on her side essentially).
I generally like Maher because he has remained who he always was while his party moved further and further left and also is usually pretty funny about shitting on them for the stuff they’ve gone full retard on. But on the subject of Trump, he’s just as broken as the rest of them. Even if we agree that 1/6 truly was an attempt to overthrow the election results… it failed miserably in like 5 minutes. But he continues to just say “he won’t relinquish power” and “he won’t concede” and “it’s the end of democracy” without elaborating. How? How exactly are we supposed to believe this will happen? If the election results come back for Biden, and Trump says he disagrees… what happens? What’s the plausible chain of events that results in Trump seizing power and installing himself as dictator? Because it seems like that’s what they think is at stake here. Do these people really have such little faith in our nation that they think Trump saying “nuh-uh, I really won!” will just mean the end of democracy? Because if that’s the case, democracy is kind of already over.

democracy has been dead since Trump won in 2016.
The only way to protect democracy is to try any means necessary to bar a candidate from appearing on a ballot.
