It's a political / social commentary / media critique type show.

From their enclave in midtown Manhattan, Michael Moynihan (Vice), Matt Welch (Reason), and Kmele Foster (Freethink) dissect the news, interrogate guests, and question just about everything.
This episode in particular was fascinating. It challenged some of the ways that I think about things and included some good fun.
Cons: These guys will sometimes reference things/authors that I've never heard of.
Still, if you want a really smart podcast that isn't strictly aligned politically, give this a shot.
I party.

I have enjoyed many of Kmele's Twitter threads, which has made me think about checking out this podcast a few times but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

This is the ep for you

Megyn interviewed the ABC women executive that accused Chris Cuomo of assgrabbing in 2005 today.
She said she walked into this bar for a welcome party for a new colleague. She said Chris walked over and gave her a bear hug, and slid his hand down to her buttocks and gave a strong squeeze to her cheek. She said that he told her he was able to do that now that she was no longer his boss, and she said it was really demeaning. Her husband saw it, but Cuomo didnt know he was there. She said he's just an arrogant frat guy (a douche basically).
She added that she wrote this op-ed piece now because Chris was an enabler of Andrew Cuomo, who has a history of sexual harassment, and she doesnt care for it.
She sounds super boring when she speaks, how was/is she a powerful exec? Seriously.

I finally checked out The Fifth Column, on UEM's rec IIRC. The ep from a few weeks ago with Katie Herzog - discussing that not at all racist lady who got fired because of the professional victim who videotaped her at a dog park in Brooklyn - was really good.
For the 1-2 of you who may even know what I'm referring to, they made an excellent point about her use of "go back to your hood." All the retards on Twitter who doxxed her and got her fired pretended "hood" is racist. "Your hood" is normal young person slang for neighborhood. "The hood" is has racial connotations as a place where poor black people live. Also, this woman knew specifically where this asshole is from - a fact that was conveniently ignored by what little reporting was done on the incident - and it is not in any way a place that people would consider "the hood." There's virtually a 0% chance her comments were related to race in any way, but this piece of shit used his 100K followers to get her fired and then pretended it was unfortunate. I had forgotten about this incident obviously, but I get really angry about it listening to this pod. I hate that guy so fucking much.

Anyway, good pod. Will listen more.
Strong podcast, routinely challenges my thinking, but at times is too highbrow as I don't get their references.

Technically I believe she was racist. But fuck him for instigating and then doing everything since bc of his phony activism.
She wasn't. The only thing about this story that has anything to do with race is that the fuckface with the camera hates white people and looks for opportunities to punish them. He's a racist piece of shit, plain and simple.
