I continue to be limited by the fact that most sportsbooks aren't happening in CT, so I'll never reach the heights that UEM and PJ have experiened. But I'm still having fun and making a little bit of money. I'm up about $600 in the last 30 days, and have also had some very near misses that have been fun to think about winning and very frustrating to see them slip away.
Here's a fun recap of potential $100-plus wins that became heartbreaks, just in the last couple weeks. No one cares, but hey... content!
Would have been pretty cool to hit 1 or 2 of those IYO.
ETA... Speaking of not happening in CT (CT isn't the only state that does this), I hate that I'm not allowed to bet on college games involving an in-state team. I was just looking at a bet that someone put on Twitter, picking the winners for each region. He picked UConn, which I knew I wouldn't be allowed to do, but it appears that I'm not even allowed to bet on ANY team to win the East Region (and presumably can't place a future on the tourney winner either) because that would be considered a bet against UConn. I don't like futures anyway, but that's super gay.

- March 7th: 4-leg NBA parlay at +44311 ($1 to win $443). Missed by 1 Klay Thompson 3-pointer. He also hit one late that was waved off for an illegal screen, and the Warriors had a decent look to get the game to OT and keep me alive IIRC. This was a tough L to swallow.
- March 8th: 5-leg NBA parlay at +2139 ($6 to win $128). First 4 hit easily, final leg missed.
- March 9th: 10-leg college bball parlay at +1962 ($8 to win $157). Hit 9 legs, Florida ML (which was -500 and easily the "safest" part of the whole thing) missed by 1 point.
- March 12th: 10-leg NHL parlay at +5650 ($5 to win $283). Hit 9 legs, the losing leg was again the safest one at -450.
- March 13th/14th: 4-leg mixed sport parlay at +1198 ($27 to win $323). Hit 3 legs, 4th one was the next day (Islanders to score in the first period). Far from a lock, but again supposed to be the easiest of the 4 legs at -150. Of course it missed.
- March 15th: 6-leg college bball parlay at +1231 ($10 to win $123). First 5 hit, Kentucky (favored by like 6-7 points IIRC) loses by double digits when I needed the ML.
- March 15th: 3-leg mixed sport parlay at +652 ($20 to win $130). Again the only one that missed was supposed to be the safest one (Jets under 4.5 team goals, odds of -180; they won 6-0).
