These people are fucking fascinating. If you haven't been following Rogan's recent "misinformation" scandal... He said on a podcast that the vaccine causes more myocarditis in kids than Covid does. The guest said he was wrong. He said "that's not what I read," and then they proceeded to pull up a study that said Joe is wrong. He dug his heels in initially with stuff like, "What's the source?" and "Is that credible?" I'm not sure where they left it in the actual podcast because I only saw these short clips that everyone is using to show how much of a dangerous anti-vax murderer he is.
So today he tweets the following, essentially saying "This guy made me look dumb yesterday, but I wasn't pulling shit out of my ass. Here's what I had previously read. I don't know what's right, I'm a moron, don't listen to me." And Twitter just doubles down with "See? This guy isn't open minded AT ALL!!" Completely failing to see the in the fact that they've all made up their minds about who/what Joe Rogan is and nothing he or anyone else says is going to convince them they don't know what they're talking about.
This guy does a good job of breaking down the various dangerous claims made by the evil anti-science doctors he had on his podcast recently, and fairly assessing what they got right and what they got wrong. The basic takeaway is that they're raising some valid concerns but also grossly exaggerating some of them to the point of fear-mongering. But dismissing everything they say - and especially censoring it - simply because it goes against the narrative will do more harm than good. ITA.
I like Neil Young, but that whole thing was hilarious. "It's me or him, Spotify!" Ummm... he makes us like 90x as much money as you do, dude. What are you even talking about? Also, you don't even own the rights to your own music so you're not entitled to make this ultimatum. But we'll get rid of your music anyway. Peace.

I heard a recent interview with Neil Young on Howard Stern. He is all over the place. He was bashing Biden pretty good, but he seems to agree with a lot of the liberal pussy shit to.

I like how liberal media is now publishing things that 6-9 months ago would have been labeled misinformation under their belief system.

On another note... I'm loving this new Normand/Gillis/Shaffir thing he's doing and will listen every time. Shane and Mark are really good together, and Shane making fun of Ari is gold. On the most recent one, Shane asking Ari about his Jewish high school and saying "Were there a lot of fights there, or mostly litigation?" had me in tears. Yay, anti-semitism!
He knows Spotify wouldn't drop Rogan. I wouldn't be surprised if Rogan and Spotify were in on this before it was announced. It gives them all publicity. Rogan & Spotify get people noticing where to find the show, and NY gets people realizing he's not dead yet.
