On Lila: I agree with your disdain over her British accent. My feeling on characters like this is that it’s too phony, too showbiz-y. Idk why shows do this. One of my black shows has some Irish mob guy as a foe in NY. It’s stupid.
lila served a huge purpose though, so not a waste.
I remember really liking Season 3 with Jimmy Smits.
And he remains excellent. But the storyline is ridiculous.
I forgot about Quinn being on the show. I always disliked him. He’s one of those stereotypical TV show characters. In his case, he’s a good-looking, slick douchebag. I wish they never cast him.
Jimmy Smits is a top 2 one-season character in tv history, as far as I am concerned. The other being Forest Whitaker on The Shield.
this season was ridic but I liked it. Though the final kill of the season was incredibly careless. I’m not sure why they wrote it like that. No chance Dexter wouldn’t be rotting in jail if they investigated it at all.
Season 5 is retarded. I still like it but the storylines are ridiculous, and tbh there’s 2 actors this season that kinda suck: Dexter and Julia Stiles. Their acting is terrible.
