I posted on my Facebook page that I thought Penn state was classless last night.
West Virginia was out of timeouts and they could have ran the clock out. Instead they scored. It was great for me bc I won a FanDuel bet.
It’s funny listening to the PSU supporters (and haters) talk about this.
1. There are playoffs now, so not winning the national title in 1994 because you didn’t run up the score is irrelevant. 2. Bringing up Sandusky as a serious point is irrelevant too.
Also, Balls, our shared SJU friend is incredibly overbearing with his know it all attitude about sports. He went at me before saying Ben Simmons was really good and I didn’t “understand” basketball.

Here’s why I don’t like college football. I watched parts of 3 games this weekend.
1. Middle Tennessee State at Alabama. MTSU doesn’t have a starter who would start for Alabama and may not have a player who could play at Alabama. Why is that interesting to anyone?
2. West Virginia at Penn State. Penn State up two scores pushes the action at the end of the game with West Virginia out of timeouts. Moronic Penn State fans argue that they have to do it to “impress the pollsters” or some other 1994 logic. There’s a playoff system now (which is fairer than random votes determining a mythical national championship). Just win your games and it doesn’t matter you dopes.
3. FSU and LSU. Two top ten teams? Some of the worst QB play I have seen in a long time.
It’s cool that you guys have your colleges that you root for etc. just don’t tell me that it’s better football than the NFL because you like bells and whistles and big and rich and all that sidebar horseshit

1. I picked a really shitty game to watch instead of any of the several good ones.
2. Some dumb fans make dumb arguments, good thing that NFL fans never do that.
3. The QB's sucked in that 69-point game.
No one in the history of the world has told you that it was "better football". Do you though.

I might believe that Balls has said that. But otherwise I agree. It’s perfectly fine to not like college football - I’m not into it, myself - but I get why people enjoy it.

Balls has said it repeatedly. UEM I know the mom of the QB for MTSU.

More likely to live up to their week 1 championship--Florida State or Colorado? I think BD called it by saying Colorado would win their opener and everyone would jump all over the Deion bandwagon. They should beat Nebraska this week and the hype will be out of control.

FSU for sure
Yeah, the Colorado schedule is pretty tough
