Nationally, I was really impressed by Marquette in the 2 games I watched this weekend. I think they come out of the East. It wouldn't shock me at all if either Memphis or FAU handled Purdue.
Turns out being impressed with Marquette was a pretty good call, considering they beat the team that steamrolled to the national championship.
Congrats to Prez I guess because we've lost every other UConn fan.

UConn's had some great years since winning their first title in 1999, but some of those years in between--WOOF.

The Ollie era was largely a mess, even with the championship. I was surprised that Hurley said on PMT that when he got there, it was a disaster and made him regret taking the job.
Yes, congrats to me, I played really well! All kidding aside, that was fun.
The Ollie title was all Calhoun. Ollie had to actually coach the games, but the key players were all recruited by Jim. The combo of Kevin Ollie and the demotion to the AAC made things pretty bleak for a few years but it obviously looks to be back on track with the re-entry to the Big East with Hurley at the helm. I've been lukewarm towards Dan Hurley, I hate the way he constantly whines to the refs but I think he finally realized that it was negatively effecting the team and seems to have curtailed that bullshit.

Bobby Hurley can suck a dick.
Is the Big East considered good anymore? They need to get back Syracuse and Pitt and a couple others probably that i am forgetting.
I do realize that beyond all comprehension, the BE has won 3 titles in what, the last 8 or so years? That is crazy.

UConn realized it’s best for them to just go all in on hoops and forget football, which I think is a smart move for them. Pitt won’t do that. Syracuse should.

They were never that serious about football IMO. They were all in on hoops before they even had a D1 football program.

I thought I read that when conference expansion was occurring UConn made more money from football than basketball. Same for Duke.

they do but they do that whether they try or not which means when all this realignment reaches its climax (like your mom last night), they'll get left out in the cold (like your mom after climax last night) making nada in either if their programs are shit
