I ask this every fucking time, how is that an out? The ninja landed out of the field of play.
This sport is retarded.
I think as long as the catch is started in the field of play than it is legal regardless of where the fielder ends up after the play. Prez?
I believe that is the rule. You have to be in the field of play when you leave your feet, and then the catch counts as long as you secure the ball before your feet touch the ground again.

So if your foot is above the field of play but not necessarily touching it, it would be an out. Got it. Goodell, you should implement that nonsense into the NFL. It makes no sense.

Like i said, retarded.
It's no more retarded than the football catch/not a catch rules. Someone came up with an arbitrary definition of what you can and can't do, and occasionally it leads to something that doesn't pass the smell test but is technically allowed.
I think that they have a decent chance against anyone in the AL except Houston
This is true of most teams, but it really depends on how certain players in their lineup are doing.
When Rosario is hitting well and Straw is not a near automatic out they can score plenty of runs. When those two scuffle it is really difficult for them to score runs.
