Anyone else gotten into it through the Netflix show? It's getting big with the hipsters now.
It does have a couple things going for it. The races are almost all on Sunday mornings and last under 2 hours. They air commerical free at least for now (F1 gave ESPN the rights for free to drum up interest in the US which is working).
Danny Riccardo is my favorite driver, but I would probably root for an American driver which is rumored to be coming soon.
All of these guys are mostly little manlet euro cunts that hate each other including their teamates. It also seems to be fairly corrupt. One of the drivers was the son of a Russian oligarch who bought his way into the car by sponsoring the team and he is like way worse a driver than all the other guys. Constantly crashing and running behind his teammate in the same car, but thinks the team is conspiring against him. He finally got fired once his dads assets got frozen and couldn't sponsor the team anymore.
The ending of the last season seemed very dubious, but I don't understand enough of the finer points.

My coworker who is really into Spanish league soccer became interested in Formula 1 because of that show. Checks out.
Swap the broccolini for sautéed green and yellow squash and that’s exactly what I had last night.
We also en joyed several beers from Tree House and Burlington Beer Co. I believe the TH was a Kellerbier, and the BBC (big black cock, lol) was a Stout.

I didn’t drink with my meal, but after the kids went to bed I enjoyed a Back East Ice Cream Man and then a coupla three fingers of Ketel One vodka.
