He was a beloved (no idea why) former player at Iowa who got drafted but never played in the NBA. I saw this tweet of him apparently winning MVP of some Japanese league, which made me go look at his wikipedia page. Since he finished playing at Iowa in 2015, he has played in:
Bonn, Germany Saint Petersburg, Russia Kaunas, Lituania Milan, Italy La Laguna, Spain (by the way, I looked this up--this is essentially the capital of the Canary Islands) Athens, Greece Belgrade, Serbia Podgorica, Montenegro Istanbul, Turkey and Kumamoto, Japan
Seems like a pretty good gig if you can get it. He also has 4 kids who I assume has lived overseas with him, which is insane.
