Sixers traded with the Celtics to draft Markelle Fultz. Celtics took a guy named Jayson Tatum.
Fultz played 14 games his rookie year. Ironically the Celtics eliminated the Sixers from the playoffs that year as Tatum averaged 23.8 for the series. Fultz sat on the end of the bench, sulking. It was at that moment when I said Fultz is a bitch and will never be able to handle the pressure of the NBA.
Guys who run to cry to their mom will never make it in pro sports.

I just find the whole tough guy "real men don't cry" thing to be unbelievably exhausting. I get the general point that to be great you're not supposed to show weakness or whatever, but to be great you also have to care. If you're hell-bent on winning at all costs, you're supposed to be visibly upset when you lose IMHO.
It's easy to cherry-pick exaples on both sides, but I'm not writing someone off becuase he cried after a loss. Chris Bosh cried all the time and could barely even walk he was so emotional after losing in the Finals once, and he's in the Hall of Fame. Glen Davis cried because Garnett yell at him once, and went on to have a perfectly serviceable NBA career (also I'll admit that it's funny his nickname was Big Baby). Roger Federer cries after wins and losses, and he's arguably the GOAT in his sport. Hell, if you want to talk about bitches who sulk on the bench, Lebron pouts like a petulant child every time he doesn't get his way.
I don't know shit about Caleb Williams, but I know I'm not writing off his career because he cried and hugged his mom after a loss.

Some of this talk is filling the space between the combine and the draft next month. At some point Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels will go through the media ringer as well.
And don't discount the Bears doing their due diligence to determine if Justin Fields is their guy (and they trade out of 1) or if Caleb Williams is worth the top pick.
Either way draft talk is exhausting. The NFL media cycle never ends.

Well-said. As for Fields, I feel like having him as your starting QB for 2 years should be enough due diligence to know whether or not he’s your guy.

im not risking my franchise if im the bears on him based on that. Sorry not sorry. The Sixers have won nothing because they’ve drafted two pussies and a flopper. There’s an element to sports that I believe in, team rallies around their best players and leaders. Outside of the emotional stuff, you have to come up big when it matters most. Embiid hasn’t. So I would bet against him ever doing it.
Crying after a big loss is fine. Crying after a regular season loss in your mother's bosom while she shields you from cameras, also while having painted nails, is a whole 'nother thing.

That’s fair. I’m still willing to believe that if he made it to Heisman-winning level despite being a crybaby faggot, he’s got a shot to succeed at the next level, but I do see why you guys may have reservations.

Damn you ldot. Anyways, he may be good for sure. Like we were talking about in the shoutbox the other night, it's a total crapshoot.
The thing that makes me think Caleb Williams could be good is that I have seen him get the shit beat out of him in some games, and he never stops fighting and playing hard.

Horrible NFL QB Donovan McNabb accounted for 263 total TDs in his career. If Balls wants to make a wager that Williams surpasses that I’m all ears.

I’d need odds. At least 10-1. I heard he cried once after a tough loss.
