I played amateur mechanic this weekend and I'm awfully proud of myself. Every time I turn my headlights on my left turn signal would shit the bed. I did what any gentleman would do, Googled and watched a YouTube video which spelled out exactly what I needed to do, which is basically fix a shitty ground cable.
I got all the accoutrements and was able the take out what I needed to take out, clean and strip the cables, clamp a new eyelet on, screw it down then test. I was also able to put everything back the way I pretty much remember it.
Only side effect was it killed my battery, so I had to use the John Deere to jump my truck. Oh, and I also potentially smoked my stereo, but I think I just need to reset the battery. I'll be sure to keep everyone posted.
