I left the TV on tonight and ended up watching Seth Myers. Hoooooooooly Shia does this show suck. It’s probably better than the Trevor Noah version of TDS, but otherwise I can’t imagine there’s a worse show on tv rn.
These late night shows aren’t trying to be funny anymore. They’re literally just saying “orange man bad even though orange man gone and I do t know how to function anymore because I thought this topic would be relevant forever so we stopped trying to write jokes.” Who the fuck is this for?

I have a fairly strong belief that Seth Meyers is the reason Trump ran in the first place.
I don’t watch any of these shows but I can’t imagine Trevor Noah is worse than SM. I think Trevor is a smart guy and probably doesn’t take the obvious angle on everything. That’s a total guess tho. Seth is just a smarmy weasel.

I had a similar experience last summer. I don't think I had seen a minute of any late night talk show for over a year when I left the TV on and Colbert came on. I thought it was the strangest thing. All political/Trump talk and none of it funny.

Since I watch The Office on Comedy Central every day, I see the commercials for Noah's Daily Show and I'm really wondering if he's doing some sort of performance art to see how long he can maintain a national TV show being as brutally unfunny as possible.
He's not even intentionally unfunny. I really don't get it.
