That's the second reference I've seen in a week to Fred Asparagus. I was watching some Spinal Tap videos last week and Mr. Asparagus had a brief cameo at the end of the movie as drummer Joe "Mama" Besser who takes over after the previous drummer spontaneously combusts.
I watched A Bronx Tale over the weekend. I never seen it, Comcast rec’d it so I said fine. It was on AMC on demand, so curses were bleeped but it seemed fine.
Movie was pretty good. It was good but like nothing really happened. Kind of tough to explain. The main gangster is a that guy, Chaz Palminteri. He’s kind of freakishly tall for an actor. I always that he was a nugget.
Deniro is a main character and he directed it. I find it difficult to believe this current day sniveling weasel Deniro was ever involved in cool shit.
