I need to say that when I posted my original preview, I was trying to not be as negative as I am all the time.

But I watched it on Friday and then posted right after while it was fresh.

By Saturday as I had time to reflect, I started getting angry about it. Its so offensive to the original series that this is even affiliated with it. Just a rudderless mess.

Agree about the murking of Dickie not making sense, but it was because he laughed at June when he fell at the church, and June was sick of being disrespected.

Anyway fuck this movie. Complete garbage.

I mean sure ostensibly that was the reason that Junior did it, but it doesn't make sense. Earlier in the movie he does nothing when a guy says his wife or girlfriend is banging someone else.

Also, if that happened, it would have been a factor in the series.

Everyone has their breaking point. Ziggy was taking shit for an entire season before snapping and murking that greek dude. I thought it made perfect sense in the context of Uncle June.

I didn't put too much stock into this movie. It was ok, and I wasn't expecting anything better. Like i said, kept me entertained. Dickie was a....dick. Nice guy w a temper. I also didn't think T's kid was terrible. I think they will make another or two, and flesh this out more. My #CB take, it should have been longer.

The movie seemed like an unfunny SNL sketch being played straight. Oh here’s Pete Davidson pretending to be Silvio.

The two Ray Liottas were an interesting move.

The Italian chick was hot.

I just don't think about that movie. The series was great, and no subsequent Sopranos related projects changes that. This is not difficult.

I was peeved last night. I finished a David Spade book in the hot tub last night, and went to buy that Tinderbox book, and it's a pre-order. For $30! First off, i typically don't do the pre-order thing, and then i forget that it ever existed. Second, i'm not paying that much for a book. I bought the new Grisham instead, even though i haven't enjoyed like his last 5 books.
