It's such a dumb fucking premise. She didn't write is a country song and wasn't a country artist, so it was never in the country charts. Now a popular country singer has covered it. It's still not a "country song" but country radio is going to play everything Luke Combs releases because it allows them to print boat loads of money. And now Chapman gets a bunch of money too, because she owns 100% of the rights to the song. And these morons are pretending it's the same thing as unknown blues artists from 80 years ago having their music stolen by Elvis and Zeppelin and shit and never getting any credit for it.
