This weekend I caught a song on one of the SXM classic rock stations that I recognized (the Buffalo Springfield classic "For What It's Worth"), but then realized it was a version I'd never heard before. I then learned that it was being performed by one Stevie Nicks; maybe you've heard of her? Didn't really think much of it, but then the next day I heard it again. Now I'm like, "What the fuck? I've heard this song a thousand times and classic rock is mostly all I listen to; how have I never heard this cover?" Turns out she just released it last week. How about that?
The original is definitely better, and I don't really know why a 74-year-old woman felt the need to cover a 56-year-old song. But her version is fine, I guess.
