Iowa is expected to have 80+ recruits in house for Saturday's game. Pretty damn big game, not just for this season but the future.
UEM, you've had some experience on recruiting trips, is that a absurd number of recruits to have at one game?
I think that is pretty standard for the big games. The thing is, the 'croots get almost no interaction with the coaches at all so it's just really all about atmosphere and support people. Lot of touring facilities and seeing the surroundings.

I have no experience with recruiting, but that sounds like an absurd number of recruits to me. Considering there are only 85 scholarship's and I think 25 per class. I know they aren't all for next year's class and they won't all sign with Iowa, but that still seems like a lot. I guess if you're going to get them on campus, this is the week to do it.
I just checked Notre Dame's visitor list, they had about 53 at the Cincinnati game this past weekend. The Toledo and Purdue games were about 20 each.
Dong - I'm picturing about 70 of them being Tight Ends, O-Linemen and Linebackers and about 10 being skill position player. Is this accurate?

D-backs. Iowa has quietly turned into as good of a school in the country at developing defensive backs. So I'd say TEs, OL, and DBs.
One that just got announced today is Kevin Kasper's kid. That name will mean absolutely nothing to non-Iowa fans but he was kind of Tim Dwight 2.0 after Dwight graduated, and still to this day holds a bunch of NFL combine records. Never made much of a pro because he was probably 5'11 tops. Well, his son is 6'4
