i watched a lot of that game. Stating the obvious but there were a lot of terrible attempts at athleticism by both sides. Lots of missed layups in traffic, hoisting up off balance crap all over the place, and so forth

has anyone dropped a take that Clark should be drafted by an nba team? I could see some professional hot take specialist advocate for the Hornets to take her. Reasoning: it’s the Hornets, who cares. But they wouldn’t say that.

Something similarish of course came up at Easter lunch yesterday--my dad asked me if I thought Caitlin would play in the Big3 and I said I hoped not, even washed up NBA guys would cook her. Everyone looked at me like I was crazy. Oh well.

I can't believe we have to keep having this conversation every time there's a girl that's really good at sports. Yes she's better than every other woman at her level, and yes she's better than the vast majority of "normal" men. But the worst professional male athlete is better than the best professional female athlete. This is true in every sport, always has been, always will be, and is in no way meant to denigrate the achievements of women. It's ludicrous to pretend otherwise.
