Will there ever be a time when people stop pretending it’s offensive to read/say that word in context? I understand that Barstool’s hands are tied here, but everyone knows there’s a difference between reading song lyrics and “using” the n-word. And it’s ridiculously childish that we have to keep acting like that’s not the case.

Same. Whether Portnoy is a good guy or not, the journalist’s tactics here seem slimy as fuck so I’m glad to see other journalists agree.
There are other places they can put it if that was the case. They finally did something that had some buzz and saw an opportunity to squeeze some more money out of their fans.
