He’s been for….4 seasons now I think? And already has tied DWade for most 40 pt playoff games in franchise history with 7.
I kept Tobias Harris and let Butler walk in the same offseason.
factor that in.
incorrect. As usual.
Simmons pouted that Butler was too ball dominant, Butler felt Simmons was a weak pussy. When the sixers sided with Simmons, Harris was the consolation prize.

So what you’re saying is that they kept Harris and let Butler walk?
ETA: It appears they traded Butler, which is different than letting him walk.
I'm saying Simmons made them choose between him and Butler and they chose Simmons. Any subsequent signings they made were because they had the additional cap space.
Butler signed and then traded - 7/6/19 Harris signed to extension - 7/10/19 Simmons extension - 7/16/19
They could have kept 2 of the 3. It was never Harris or Butler. It was always Butler or Simmons.
My understanding of it without listening to philly sports talk nor researching is that Brett was scared of him and couldnt coach him, so they let him go.

We can agree to disagree.
That was an additional factor.
Plus embiid loved Butler and that was when Ben was fighting Embiid like he was the star of the Franchise
I can’t believe this team has made 3 of the last 4 conference finals.
I can’t believe THIS year’s team made it, but the last two were reasonable enough. We’re not THAT bad, dudes.
I had completely forgotten that they were the 1 seed last year. I'd still hazard a guess that they weren't one of the top 2 favorites in the conference in any of the past 4 years though.
I’m gonna get this in now, I think we are massively outgunned in this series, especially without Herro and Dipo. But this season has been a huge success, I’d left these guys for dead multiple times this season.

No pressure, Boston!
ETA: This same exact post goes for the Iced Cats.
Sick reverse jinx, brahhhh.
Same horseshit, Spo is coaching circles around our tard. However, I do think the Celtics win in 7.

After that game 7 debacle it must have been jarring for the celts to suddenly have to play a team actually trying to win the game
