Your hood: pros and cons

This happened somewhere in my state.  Call me crazy, but I think they're grossly exaggerating the bear's actions by saying it "began attacking".  It climbed into the pen out of curiosity, and the pig immediately said "GTFOH" before the bear did a damn thing.  I support the pig's right to stand its ground, but I think they're making the bear look bad here for no good reason.  I seriously doubt they'd do the same if it had been a polar bear. SMH

The suspect robbed a Starbucks.   That seems like a curious decision, as most people don't pay with cash there. 

Anyway:




I think some people are going to be upset that this guy was rammed by the police cruiser.

Police shot him too, but I think he is expected to survive.  

Every time I have the local morning show on TV, this guy makes me think of BSMB because he wears a hat on every report:



He was off the air for a few years because he caused a bad accident while DUI on a weekend afternoon:



He supposedly had 3 open beers in his car at the time of the crash.

Not reported.   The local news/sports media here have a lot of DUIs.   One female news anchor lost her job after 3 DUIs.   In one of them she had a large cup of vodka in her console.   Another female anchor had 2 DUIs in a week in Park City.   Sports radio guy had 3 DUIs and was arrested for his last one going over 100 mph on the freeway.  

was one of the three filled with piss? or did he forget he'd opened one when he popped one for each hand?

Fun fact:  she looked at my profile when I was on Match years ago.  I did not reach out to her.   Her ex-husband also beat up her co-anchor who was at her house when the ex-husband went to pick up their kids.

The female anchor that got two DUIs in Park City:



She lives somewhere near me.   She has a reputation of being a sloppy drunk around Park City.  One night my friend and his chum were at a bar and she was really tipsy and kept hitting on my friend's friend.   Then all of a sudden she said, "I left my dog in my car" and bolted out of the bar.   She left without paying her tab.   She apparently came back and paid it the next day.
