Looks like someone should have gone to Timeout for the game.
in good faith I couldn't ditch my kids....plus Aaron Nola is a bum
Zero hits and you blame your starting pitcher. That's all just a smoke show to cover the fact that you're responsible for the Phillies loss. If the Astros go on to win the series, I imagine the guilt will be substantial knowing that all you needed to do was go out for 27 Coors Lights. Some people are so selfish.

haha that's the funniest thing you've written. Good job Prez
The no hitter was the chefs kiss as you guys say. If harry Kalas was alive he may have used his "let's get the married men off the field" line when every Astros batter was ripping bullets the first four innings
The media gets a lot of targeted crap these days from all angles. The right bashes the media for reporting on things they don’t want to hear; the left is usually upset the media isn’t reporting things the way they want to see them reported; and from everyone in the middle, who has just gotten in the habit of adopting both sides’ talking points and blaming the media for everything.

that is just a *chef's kiss* quote from deadspin
In fairness, the left is mad about everything. All the time!
First Phillies game I have been to in person since 2013 I believe.
Why? It’s a real pain in the ass to get to the games from where I live because of traffic.
My friend Ed drove to something called the Fern Rock station in Olney. I would not recommend being here at night. It’s an area just crawling with MAGAs. Oh wait my bad I mean it’s an all black neighborhood. I’m sure all of us would be fine there.
We took the broad street subway line. We got to make stops in all of these wonderful black neighborhoods.
We got to the game and went to Xfinity live. My friends drank Bud Lights which I refused to do (taste over politics) and I had Mich Ultras. We were joined by Bobcat, Ted the Head and eventually, the man the myth the legend BSMB. We left Xfinity live and went to the game. My seats were in the front row down the 3rd baseline.
Pregame ceremonies were fine. Sad seeing Rhys Hopkins on crutches. During the game I had a hot dog, 2 24 oz Michelob Ultras and 1 24 oz Miller Lite. My friend had a hot dog and 1-2 Surfsides. The price of everything is astronomical. I don’t know how ham and eggers can go. Phils won 5-2. I saw my cousin Lexi down there. I will not post pics. After the game we went back to xfinity for an hour and I had the worst cheesesteak of my life. Felt like I was chewing an old shoe.
The new rules make for better baseball on TV but not at the game. Game seems too rushed in person. Also I had the Philadelphia version of Bartman sitting next to me. He had on two jackets and was leaning over my seat to film everything on his cell phone.
It was nice but everything went by too fast. I then paid $100 for an Uber home and was home by 8:15.
