This is apparently the "real" initial proposal. The B1G would never in a million years go along with this, sorry.
Agreed. Also, is it really a “Super League” with 70 teams? I think it needs to have fewer teams.
Roughly 60 major conference teams who for various reasons are likely to at least have some support from the rest of the schools....and then if they want to do relegation, then the extra 10. I don't want a tiny league because then Jim is right, you might as well just do the Lesser NFL.
I just stumbled upon a random tweet that informes me that the University of California is in the ACC next year, and I officially fucking hate all of you for pretending the NCAA isn’t a goddamn dumpster fire that needs to be abolished.

The Pac-12 ceasing to exist is the worst development in college football in recent years. I think it is worse than NIL and transfer rules being out of control.
ETA: Don't forget that Stanford went to the ACC too. What a sport!

I didn’t forget that. Mostly because I didn’t notice the Stanford logo in the aforementioned tweet and therefore didn’t know about it until I read your post. This is all just unfathomably retarded.
I obviously never cared much about college football to begin with so I’m not gonna take some grand faggoty stance about history or whatever. But as a fan of words and geography, I firmly believe that whoever allowed teams from California to join the Atlantic Coast Conference deserves ball cancer, and then their ball cancer should get Ebola.
